Jane Angeline Clark, 83, Mosinee, died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born in Schofield on May 10, 1921, to the late Rodney A. and Elizabeth (Wendorpski) Clark. Jane grew up in the town of Weston on the family farm at Cedar Creek. She was one of eight children.

Jane graduated from Wausau High School in 1939. As a young lady, she was especially happy to have played harmonica with Buck Leverton's group on WSAU radio and in various other places. Jane was employed at Wausau Insurance Cos. for 37 years, having spent time with the company in Wausau, Chicago, Albany, N.Y., Minneapolis and Atlanta. She was an underwriter for Employers Insurance when she retired in 1983. She continued to live in Atlanta, where she enjoyed life to the fullest, being with friends and remaining active. Jane enjoyed decorating her apartment, sewing, reading, traveling and watching movies. A devoted friend, Marilyn Dowdle and her family of Atlanta, provided Jane with friendship and support that she always remembered.
In October 2003, Jane came to Wisconsin to be near family and lived with her niece, Jean Bohman. -
