She was a member of Pythian Sisters from 1959 until her death and reached the office of Most Excellent Chief, Civitan President from 1980-1981, Kern County Mineral Society President 1960-1963 and California Retired Teachers from 1979 until her death.

Frances was married to Athol I. Clark for 46 years until his death in 1997.
