BALTIMORE, Md. - Underwritten by a $10 million gift from A. James Clark, a new three-story biomedical engineering center named in his honor has been completed at The Johns Hopkins University. Clark Construction Group, LLC built the 60,000-gross-square-foot research facility, which features 13 faculty laboratories, 10 labs for visiting scientists, four undergraduate teaching labs, classrooms and computer facilities, on the University's Homewood campus.

"I have spent most of my life in the construction side of engineering, but contributions from all fields of engineering are vitally important to the future of humanity. It's incumbent on all of us who have been successful to provide the financial resources to educate and train our future engineering leaders."
