   Because of the war in Iraq and the soft economy, not enough people had signed up before the deadline, but Sue Clark-Jones, CMP, the association's director of meetings and events, isn't deterred. She'll try to make it happen again next year-because it makes sense for members, and the revenue would be good for the association.
   
   "We know our members are going to attend certain events, so we want to try linking up with those events," said Clark-Jones, who's based in Helena, Mont.
