Jim is a consultant with STRATX' Boston office. At STRATX, Jim has worked extensively in the healthcare sector and in high technology markets.Jim led a project team that successfully incorporated key principles of ‘managed care' in a recent version of STRATX' MARKSTRAT- PHARMA simulation.

Jim's other business experience includes a marketing management role in an e-business incubator.Jim worked also six years with the DuPont Company as a research and strategy consultant and market planner.His responsibilities included the design and implementation of strategies for the electronic chemicals and components and hazardous waste treatment business units.He also led new product development teams that introduced new offerings in the fluorochemical and construction products businesses.He was chosen as a DuPont Corporate Marketing Excellence Award Winner in 1991, and received a Corporate Environmentalism Award in 1993.

Jim also worked as an underwriter and marketing associate in the financial services industry in New York.His responsibilities included the design of new pension investment products as well as a supervisory role in the accounts service area.

Jim's areas of interest include services and high technology marketing, new product development/productivity, marketing management systems, e-business and new business models.

Jim earned his Masters of Management degree from Northwestern University where he majored in marketing and finance.He also holds a BA from Pennsylvania State University.
