Ms. Cirillo is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Lisenced Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice and at The Women's Center in Vienna, Virginia serving individuals, couples, families, and groups.She is experienced and skilled in in-depth psychotherapy with emphasis on maintaining personal and family integrity during transition and crises.Her primary focus is on helping couples, individuals, and groups cope with marital infidelity, communication difficulties, and anger and stress issues.She also assists clients with self-esteem, separation and divorce, assertiveness, dysfunctional relationships, depression, incest, addictive behaviors, and anxiety.She is a trained family and divorce mediator.She also develops and conducts support and therapy groups, and is a rape crises counselor.

Ms Cirillo has conducted seminars for other professionals, physicians, psychiastrists, and social workers in the mental health field on infidelity issues and therapy models for dealing with such issues.

Over the past decade Ms. Cirillo has dedicated her professional counselor services to assisting women, teenagers, men, and families.She has been intensively engaged in a wide spectrum of adult-related academic and real-life service situations.These have dealt with short- and long- term crises management related to victims of rape, incest, infidelity, spousal abuse, work difficulties, and potentially violent family and teen situations.She has, on behalf of these victims and others, represented them and facilitated their needs at hospitals, homes of relatives, shelters, and other community service organizations.

Her work was conducted as a post-graduate student at The Johns Hopkins University, as a full-time counselor for problem employees at a large US Government facility, as a counselor at the Women's Center in Vienna Virginia, and now as a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice.Ms. Cirillo has successfully counseled individuals and couples and conducted long- and short-term therapy groups at the Center and in private practice.For the past two years she also has conducted "Life-101" workshop for teenagers and workshops on anger and stress management on behalf of The Women's Center in Vienna, Virginia.Ms. Cirillo also has extensive formal classroom experience as head of the Language Arts Program at a major private school in McLean, VA .
