    A supporter of Justice Jose Sabio Jr., lawyer Vicente Chuidian, has asked the Supreme Court to decide en banc on the administrative complaint he filed against Sabio's adversary Justice Vicente Roxas, saying that the case "may tend to shed light on the existence or non existence of a pattern or system of impropriety."

    In a petition filed yesterday (August 21), Chuidian argued that this is of "transcendental importance" to the ongoing probe on the dispute among justices in the appellate court.

    Chuidian, Sabio's legal counsel and a former classmate at Ateneo de Manila University, filed a motion to refer Roxas's administrative case to the Court en banc yesterday, which is currently handled by the second division of the High Court.

    Chuidian's administrative complaint against Roxas, filed in early 2008, is the third case known to have been filed against the justice.One has been dismissed.

    In the affidavit, Ocier, a brother of Belle Resources Corp. executive Willie Ng Ocier, detailed an alleged meeting between him, lawyer Vicente Chuidian and two broadcast journalists, in connection with a family dispute where Chuidian bragged about giving Perez the money.
