Dr. Myunghae Choi is the Medical Director of Critical Care at the Heart Center at St. Vincent Medical Center.She has extensive experience in interventional cardiology procedures including angioplasty, valvuloplasty, stenting, laser and pacemaker insertion and has performed more than 2,000 interventioal procedures in the last eleven years.

Prior to becoming medical director of critical care at the hospital, Dr. Choi was Chief of Cardiology at St. Vincent Medical Center.She currently serves as chairperson for the Los Angeles Heart Institute (LAHI) Advisory Council.

Born in Seoul, Korea, Dr. Choi moved to the United States after completing high school.She received her medical degree from the University of Nevada and completed Internal Medicine and Cardiology training at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California.She also completed an additional 7th year in Angioplasty.

Dr. Choi is board certified in internal medicine and cardiology.
