Joe Chimento joined the U.S. Recovery Bureau after serving 4 1/2 years with Vortex Investigative Associates, a N.J. State Licensed Private Detective Agency out of Cape May Court House, New Jersey.

His primary duties as the Director of North Jersey Operations were Fugitive Recovery, Investigations, Firearms Instructor, Executive Protection, Covert Electronics and High Tech Crimes Investigations.Mr. Chimento received advanced training in Computer Forensics from the John Stamler Police academy in Scotch Plains NJ.

In his past role as a Fugitive recovery agent for Vortex IA, Joe has a long list of fugitive apprehensions to his credit.Mr. Chimento has also served as executive protection for some of New Jersey's top executives.In addition to his experience as a private investigator, for the past 8 years, Joe has served as the Chief Range Safety Officer and Civilian Firearms Instructor for the Bayonne Police Range located in Bayonne, NJ.He is also a top contender in the North Jersey Combat Pistol League where he has received many trophies for high score and first place.

Joe holds a B.S. Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from the College of New Jersey and has over 20 years experience in the design and development of DoD classified systems used in Electronic Warfare.Joe is presently employed as a Principal InfoSec Engineer for Solid Network Solutions working on the U.S. Army C4ISR test bed at Ft. Monmouth, NJ.
