Dr. Yunquan Chen

The Company is pleased to announce that Dr. Yunquan Chen has joined MDX in the full time capacity of Chief Technology Officer.Dr Chen, who holds a Ph.D in biomedical engineering, is responsible for leading the Company's product development as work commences this month at the MDDC Medical Development Centre in facilities of the Vancouver General Hospital, where the Company has leased its initial laboratory space.

Dr. Chen brings to the Company 20 years in medical device and applied electronics research and development, with particular expertise in signal analysis, patent management, FDA approval processing and leadership of product development through to commercialization.Prior to joining MDX, he served in the key positions of Technical Manager and Project Manager at VSM Technology Inc. where Dr. Chen was instrumental in managing their prime technology successfully through early product development to achieving major milestones in the FDA and commercialization process.Previously, he held research and development positions variously at Vancouver's Children's Hospital, GF Strong Rehabilitation Center, Simon Fraser University (Department of Kinesiology), and more recently serving as a specialist consultant to a number of private and public companies to aid in their medical device and biomedical projects.Dr. Chen remains on the Medical Advisory Group of VSM Technology Inc.The Company looks forward to the direction of its projects under Dr. Chen's guidance, as the first of a number of steps in progress to build our resource base.

MDX Medical also announces that as part of its current corporate restructuring, Dr. Yunquan Chen has resigned as Chief Technical Officer of the Company and will be pursuing other business commitments.The Board of Directors extends its appreciation for his contributions to MDX Medical and wishes him well in his other ventures.
