Yun Ping Chen

Yun Ping Chen is our head competitive coach.She arrived in 2001 from Beijing where she received her B.A. from the Beijing University of Physical Education in 1991.

She was the head coach of the Beijing RG University Team from 1991 to 1995, leading her team to capture all five gold medals at the China National University Games in 1992, 1993, and 1995; silver in 1994.

From 1995 to 1997, she was the head coach for the Beijing New Red Chamber Aerobic Center for the China University Rhythmic Gymnastics Association.Prior to coming to Canada, she was the head coach for the China National 'Shaping" headquarters while also judging National and International competitions in Rhythmic Gymnastics.

Coach Chen has her NCCP Level 3 from the National Coaching Certification Program as well as her judging certification.
