Timothy Chan, a Polytechnic University tutor, made a gigantic rice bowl with a slogan "silly old Tung".
He was calling for universal suffrage by the year 2007.
"Tung should have carried this message to Beijing.Instead, he has failed.Maybe he has eaten too much rice and got sick."
Chan also criticised the government for using the improving economy in an attempt to discourage the people from taking to streets.
"Having enough food on the table does not mean we must forget our fight for democracy," he said.
