   Dr. Chen is Fort Plain Animal Hospital's primary clinician and is the owner of the hospital. He has been a veterinarian for over 20 years, and prior to moving to the United States in 1984, he worked as a veterinarian at a veterinary teaching hospital in Beijing, China. Many of our clients have benefited from Dr. Chen's extensive knowledge of Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture, and he blends Eastern and Western medicine together to truly benefit the animals in his care. Dr. Chen especially enjoys performing surgery, whether it is soft tissue surgery or orthopedic bone surgery. On his rare day off, Dr. Chen enjoys fishing, kayaking and the occasional poker game
