   From 1997 through 1998 , Rick was a senior analyst with Individual Investor Group of New York , NY , where he was responsible for providing online research for the company's popular web site , IndividualInvestor.com.Previously , he served as a research analyst with Commonwealth Associates , Inc. , a New York based merchant and investment banking firm noted for its expertise working with emerging businesses.Rick began his career as an associate then a manager at the Barrington Consulting Group , Inc. , a Washington D.C. based management consulting firm specializing in business valuation and bankruptcy reorganization.
   
   Rick holds a master's degree in finance from Boston College.
