Dr. Philbert Chen, M.D. is the medical director of Community Partners Health Plan.He is also an Occupational Medicine physician at Carle Clinic.Dr. Chen received a Bachelor of Sciences degree from Yale University and his medical degree from New York Medical College.He has worked with employers to improve the health and productivity of their workers thru intelligent programs that focus on outcomes and not just cost.He is currently working on projects designed to demonstrate that health and productivity are related, and that the current focus on lowering (health care) costs may be negatively impacting business productivity and total costs.
