   Peter Y. Chen, PhD
   
   Dr. Chen joined the Center staff in 1999 to conduct both lab and field research in occupational stress, performance prediction, training, and personnel selection. He has more than ten years of research experience in the areas of adaptive training and assessment, job stress, emotion and work behavior, and counterproductive behavior.
   
   Previously, Dr. Chen worked at Ohio University as an associate professor and assistant professor with department of psychology. He began his professional career working in the department of psychology at Illinois Institute of Technology. In 1991, Dr. Chen received his Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology with a minor in Psychometrics from the University of South Florida in Tampa. He completed his undergraduate work in Psychology at Chung-Yuan Christian University, Taiwan in 1980. Until 1987, he worked in the manufacturing and marketing industries.
   
   A member of the Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology; the Academy of Management; and International Association of Applied Psychology, Dr. Chen serves as reviewer for a number of professional publications. He authored numerous journal articles and book chapters and presents numerous workshops and conferences.
