   Lisa Chen is a senior portfolio manager with the International iShares Team at BGI. The team is responsible for 33 single country, regional, sector and global iShares based on MSCI, S&P and FTSE indexes. Before joining the iShares team, Lisa worked as a developed markets international portfolio manager at BGI. Prior to joining BGI in 1999 Lisa was a portfolio manager with the Province of British Columbia where she managed both domestic and international portfolios for this large Canadian public pension plan. Lisa graduated from the University of B.C with a Bachelor of Commerce. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and is series 7 and 63 registered. Lisa and her husband Shams - who also works in the financial sector - have an adorable young daughter - Sofia - who is more frequently referred to as "Baby Ma," and is also known as "little precious."

   "The general consensus is that Asian markets are looking very attractive," says Lisa Chen, a portfolio manager at Barclays Global Investors and head of its international iShares group, which runs several Asian-based ETFs. "Asian economies have good underlying fundamentals, including strong balance of payments and current account surpluses," she notes.
