Mr. Chen has developed a solution for more advanced methods of computer-assisted surgery. Mr. Chen targets the use of real-time ultrasound images to create more precise images to improve surgical procedures. The current process will be revolutionized through increasing the visibility of the bone surface as well as shortening and increasing accuracy of calibration procedures. Mr. Chen has extensive experience working in computer programming and is continuing his research aided by GE Canada using their ultrasound machines. Mr. Chen is creating a communications link between the ultrasound machine and his PC that will enable the download of information at a faster rate.
