Dr. Kaixian Chen is a member of Chinese Academy of Sciences and the President of Shanghai Institute of Pharmaceutical Research; He graduated from physics department, Fudan University in 1967. He received his doctor's degree in Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica in 1985 and did his postdoctor's research at the Institute of biophysics and biochemistry at Paris.
