Toronto , CA - 08/30/05 Justin Chen, President of the Pan Pacific RFID Solutions has been appointed to the RadioActive Board of Advisors and has been placed in charge of RadioActive Development in China.
Mr. Chen has a large amount of experience with RFID and the Chinese Government. His experience includes heading a number of RFID organizations in both Silicon Valley and China. He is currently the executive vice director of Guangdong Province Information Association RFID Professional Committee and executive vice chairman of Pan Pearl Triangle Region RFID Industry Consortium, member of China RFID National Standard Working Group (currently the group activities are suspended). He is director of information department at Guangdong Province Defense Transportation Emergency Response Center. He is also one of the invited experts of Guangdong province logistics expert group, serving as chairman of International Supply Chain Visibility and Control Association. He is also consultant for China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing and its Pallet Professional Committee, participating revision of China pallet national standard. Currently he is working with department of information industry at both Guangzhou province and both Hubei province to develop RFID lab, RFID pilot projects and RFID training programs etc for promoting RFID industries. He is also heavily involved in a number of national and provincial large scale logistics and IT projects. In Silicon Valley he was former Chair for Silicon Valley RFID SIG.
He is leading a number of companies in both Silicon Valley and China into RFID reseach and application development including RFID chip/reader devices, middleware and application fields, supply chain visibility and control, global data synchronization, sensor network, wifi-wimax, logistics information platform, and other logistics system related effort such as pallet national recycling system. He is also on board of Logistics and IT Associates, Derivative Electronics, Beijing Pallet System Ltd, Hao Ding Science and Technology, Guangzhou South China Security Information Park; focusing on various aspects of RFID solutions for logistics and IT industries in China.
