Good for us who are a little lactose intolerant.), we had a visit from Mr. John C. Chen, Director General of Department of International Organizations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. His topic of lecture is The Current Status of Taiwan's Foreign Relations and Participation in International Organization. Many graphs, charts and wonderful slides were shown on Taiwan's participation or limited participation in the various international organizations. However, one unfortunate truth came to light was the fact Taiwan's participation in these various organization were limited in name-sake.Much participation was under fictitious name of Chinese-Taipei, or ChineseXXX.And to hear from Mr. Chen's confirmation, the main reason was due to China's unreasonable obstruction on the international stage.
