John P. Chen
John is a Principal and Chief Financial Officer for National Material L.P., a diversified industrial holding company in the steel, aluminum and ferrous scrap distribution, processing and recycling businesses comprised of approximately forty locations throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and China.
John serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for SKD Automotive Group L.P. (a Tier One automotive supplier), Combined Metals of Chicago, LLC (a stainless steel and specialty alloy processor and distributor), and Nacme Steel Processing, LLC (a processor of high strength carbon steels).
In addition to serving on the Board of Bodacion Technologies, John is a Director of Sigmatron International, Inc. (a publicly traded electronic manufacturing services company) and is a Director-elect for Aviva Biosciences Corporation (a biotechnology company that focuses on the fabrication and application of planar micro fabricated devices for cell based processing and manipulation, electrophysiology measurements, and cell isolation that will create enabling technologies in the drug discovery and diagnostic markets).John was formerly the Acting President & CEO and a Director of Irvine Networks, LLC; an early stage technology company developed a content appliance that accelerated static and dynamic content through web servers.Irvine Networks was sold in January 2002 to Simpletech, Inc, a NASDAQ-traded technology company.
Prior to his current position, John worked at PepsiCo, Inc. from 1982 - 1990 in various capacities in New York, Hong Kong and Dallas.
