   Jane (Yan) Chen was born in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, China. Currently a graduate student at Lingnan (University) College at Sun Yat-sen (Zhongshan) University, her major is international economics. Her interest is in environmental problems, such as pollution from cars, and possible solutions, such as the use and development of mass transit. She believes environmental practices are important for both L.A. and Chinese cities.
