Before joining e21, in 1997 Chen founded eServiceOffice, a company that focused on Internet/Web application development.

   e21 has merged with eServiceOffice in exchange for $ 5.8 million in stock value for 100 % of the company. eServiceOffice had a revenue of $ 3 million for 2000 with a total of 23 employees, bringing the Los Angeles office up to 35 employees and e21's total number of employees over 320 worldwide. The total value of e21 now exceeds $ 37 million. e21's projected revenue is $ 24 million for 2001 and $ 49 million for 2002. eServiceOffice will become an e21 regional office and take on the name e21soft to denote its focus on Internet software technology. e21soft staff, together with the existing e21 Los Angeles office staff, are relocating to a larger office in Santa Fe Springs in order to accommodate current and future staff growth.
   
   e21 has additional plans for expansion and remains on track for a mid-2001 IPO.
