David Z. Chen, Ph.D.Vice President, R & DDr. David Chen has more than 17 years of pharmaceutical development experience in the areas of process analytical technology, solid state characterization of drug substance and drug product, chemcial process development and manufacturing support.His current responsibilities include leading the analytical and bioanalysis groups and oversight of all technical operations for Pharmalytica Services.In addition, Dr. Chen also serves as a Senior Client Consultant on solid state characterization, polymorph determination and process analytical technology.Prior to joining Pharmalytica Services, Dr. Chen served as Manager for Schering-Plough Global Quality and as a Research Leader for Roche Pharmaceuticals.Dr. Chen holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Miami and a BS in Chemistry from Wuhan University in China.
