This school was founded by Mrs. Chen. Mrs. Chen had to face a lot of challenges, like government's regulations. It wasn't that easy. When teachers were hired, the classes started.

Her daughter needed a good school and Mrs. Chen was not happy with the preschools around. Mrs. Chen got the idea in 1987. Before this beautiful place was a school, it was just a house and some vacant land. Mrs. Chen says, "It was very hard, and it took some time." Of course she had to advertise it to get going. How hard do you think it would be to start a school, by yourself? VERY HARD!
First, Mrs. Chen bought one property. She made the office and classrooms A and B. Then she bought another property and made it classroom C. Then she stopped buying property for awhile, and concentrated on getting kids in the school. Then she bought more property and made classroom D. And she bought more and made classroom E and F.
Finally, on top she bought another house, or property and made an extension from F and it was named classroom G. Just recently she bought another property and made it classroom A-1, the newest classroom in the school. Well that's the classroom part. Here is the best part. Then they bought materials. These Montessori materials are good for our knowledge. Then she bought desks and tables. Then she bought...THE PLAYGROUNDS!!!

Luckily our Principal, Mrs. Chen, was able to witness the inauguration on January 18. I asked Mrs. Chen to share with our readers her thoughts and feeling as she witnessed this great occasion. This in an account of her visit in her own words.
