Mr. Aaron Chen

Mr. Chen began his training at American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena, CA. He studied Classical Ballet under the Fuller Brothers of Le Studio Dance. In 1997 he was invited to join At Marah Dance Theatre and was mentored under the supervision of Stephen Wynne in Philadelphia, PA. In 2001 he continued his training at Belhaven College in Jackson, MS. He was a charter member of Polarity Dance Theatre led by Marc Arentsen. In October of 2007 Mr. Chen performed with the Jose Limon Dance Company. He has been guest artist under the mentorship of Sharon Perry and Still Point Dance Theatre where he has had the opportunity to share his choreographic explorations.

Mr. Chen is on staff at several schools as a guest modern instructor and has taught for the Vanderbilt Dance Program and set works at Belhaven College. Mr. Chen teaches at workshops and conventions around the nation and loves the path he is on.

Mr. Chen began his training at Collenette School of Dance in San Marino, CA. He continued his study of fine arts at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena, CA. He also studied under the Fuller Brothers of Le Studio Dance. In 1997 he was invited to join AtMarah Dance Theatre and was mentored under the supervision of Stephen Wynne in Philadelphia, PA. In 2001 he attended Belhaven College in Jackson, MS. He was a charter member of Polarity Dance Theatre led by Marc Arentsen. In October of 2007 Mr. Chen performed with the Jose Limon Dance Company. He is a guest artist under the mentorship of Sharon Perry and Still Point Dance Theatre where he continues his choreographic explorations. Mr. Chen is on staff at ACSD and is a staff member of the Vanderbilt Dance Program and teaches at workshops and conventions and has performed around the nation and abroad. Aaron loves bringing his joy of dance instruction to students at ACSD.

Aaron "Master" Chen began his performance training at American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena, CA. From there, studied under the Fuller Brothers of Le Studio Dance also located in Pasadena.He was invited to join At Marah Dance Theatre led by Stephen Wynne in Philadelphia PA, where he danced for 2 years.He continued his dance training while going to Belhaven College in Jackson MS, to study for a BFA in Modern.He was a charter member of Polarity Dance Theater led by Marc Arentsen and he continued his choreographic exploration by creating numerous pieces for Polarity that were performed throughout Mississippi and New York, NY.Mr. Chen has been doing work with Sharon Perry; Artistic Director of Still Point Dance Theatre based out of the Vanderbilt Dance Program.
