Parade of Stars' Chuck Chellman has had a varied, yet exciting life in the music industry.
Music, travel and sports have given him a wonderful working view of the entire world.Music and athletics, along with a career in travel, have given him insights and experiences that few can compare.He is considered an expert in all three fields.
His father immigrated from Sweden and settled in Western Pennsylvania, where he worked as a coal miner, tire maker and glass worker.His father's strong work ethic was passed along to his children.
Chellman graduated from Jeannette, PA high school, attended Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY, and West Virginia University.He worked as a bass player and singer for many stars and served the United States Amateur Boxing Association as a referee, judge and international ambassador for the USA in the sport of boxing.He is a member of the Tennessee/Alabama/Georgia Boxing Hall of Fame.He was president of the Nashville Amateur Boxing Association for 13 years and president of the Southeastern AAU for two years, over all sports.
Upon leaving college, Chuck had the opportunity to work on the road with stars such as Frankie Laine, Martha Raye, The McGuire Sisters, Eartha Kitt, Ketty Lester, Ray Eberle Orchestra and The Charlie Spivak Orchestra.

Chellman also served for ten years as president of The Tennessee Jazz & Blues Society, a respected nonprofit organization established in 1972. (His experience in the jazz & blues field is very deep.)
As a producer, Chellman owns Renegade Records, a small label that sold masters to Fantasy, ABC/Dot, Tower (Capitol), BASF Records, MCA, Free Flight (RCA), and many others.He was the producer of many hours of full-orchestra music for MUZAK.He was also involved in the productions of ex-Creedence Clearwater's John Fogerty's Blue Ridge Rangers.His production credits are many, and in all fields of music.
Parade Of Stars was purchased by Chellman in 1973.
