Chandra Chell Board Member
Chandra Chell is a systems analyst for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, assisting in the oversight operations of the main datacenter on the West Coast. With her entire career based in technology, Ms. Chell has worked in a variety of industries. She began as a computer specialist for a regional water and power utility and moved on to work for the U.S. Immigration & Naturalization Service in San Francisco. More recently, Ms. Chell served as an engineer for Gateway, the PC manufacturer as well as Z-Force, a tech startup. A graduate of Cal Poly Pomona, she received her Bachelor's degree in electronics and computer engineering and currently holds several industry certifications.
Ms. Chell has had extensive civic and political involvement as a volunteer. She has served on the board of the Young Republican Federation Contra Costa County and was an appointed member to the local Central Committee. Ms. Chell was also a founding board member of a Junior Chamber of Commerce chapter that assisted with fundraising efforts for Saddleback Community Outreach, a women's shelter, a local YMCA chapter and the American Cancer Society. More recently, she served on the board for the Orange County Young Republicans and the Aliso Viejo Republican Women Federated. Her focus has been in organizing volunteers, fundraising and event planning. Because of her contributions, Ms. Chell has earned several awards of distinction from the Orange County Republican Party and the Orange County Federation of Republican Women. She is also an associate member of the California Republican Party and serves as an ambassador for Assemblywoman Mimi Walters. -
