   Amadou Cheiffou, Regional Director of the International Civil Aviation Organization , said that his agency is ready to provide assistance for the project, and its experts will provide technical information and advice to national staff.
   
   "The project will help create a self-sufficient civil aviation authority, with an adequate framework provided by legislation, trained personnel and financial resources to lift the country to the international level in civil aviation," he said.
