John grew up in Dutton, MT and holds a bachelor's degree in business from Montana State University.He began his banking career at Dutton State Bank in 1973, then in 1976 became a Bank Examiner for the State of Montana.John and his family moved to Hamilton in 1985 where he joined the staff of Citizens State Bank as a loan officer.He began working for Ravalli County Bank in 1993 as the bank's Credit Analyst and Loan Review Officer and was promoted to a Commercial, Real Estate, and Agricultural Loan Officer in 1996.John is involved in the Bitterroot Valley Kiwanis Club, and the Hamilton High School Booster Club.
