Janet joined Mundt MacGregor in 1990 after practicing more than ten years in Houston, Texas.Janet graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1975 with high honors in education and received her J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from the South Texas College of Law in 1980.Janet is certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Immigration and Nationality Law.She has been listed as a "Super Lawyer" in the 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2001 publications of Law & Politics and one of Seattle's Best Immigration Lawyers in the 1998 publication of Seattle Magazine.

Janet has practiced exclusively in the area of immigration and nationality law since 1981, and is certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in immigration and naturalization law.
