   Gordon F. Cheesbrough, Managing Partner, Blair Franklin Capital Partners Inc., was appointed Chairman of the Board of Governors, North York General Hospital, on June 20, 2005.
   
   Mr. Cheesbrough was first appointed to North York General Hospital's Board of Governors in June 1999.He was elected Treasurer in June 2001, serving in that capacity until his appointment as Chairman.
   
   Mr. Cheesbrough has more than 30 years of experience in the Canadian and international financial service industry.He became Chairman and CEO of Scotia McLeod Inc. in 1993 and Scotia Capital Markets in 1995.Mr. Cheesbrough was appointed President and CEO of Altamira Investment Services Inc. in January 1998.After completing the restructuring and eventual sale of the company to the National Bank of Canada, he formed a partnership that became Blair Franklin Capital Partners in 2003.
   
   Mr. Cheesbrough currently serves on the Board of the Canadian Tire Corporation.He is also Chairman of the Canadian Tire Bank and Chair of the Dean's Arts and Science Advisory Committee at the University of Toronto.His former board appointments include Orion Capital, Canadian Air Transport Security Authority, CML Healthcare and Chairman of the Board of Upper Canada College.
