   Jake Cheechov is a 1993 Graduate of Western College of Auctioneering and a 2005 Graduate of World Champion College of Auctioneering.Jake has been continuously employed within the auction industry for over 14 years and is an active member of the National Auctioneers Association as well as the Oregon, Washington and Idaho Auctioneers Associations.Jake spent the first 8 years of his career as a contract auctioneer selling livestock and dealer only auto auctions in Western Oregon and he continues to sell the Klamath Livestock Auction weekly.In 1999 he formed Pacific International Auctions and Appraisals which allowed him to make the transition from contract auctioneer to auctioneer/firm owner.His firm currently specializes in large heavy industrial auctions of agricultural, construction, trucking and forestry equipment.Pacific International Auctions and Appraisals is the auction company of choice for many major lending institutions and large corporations as well as numerous small businesses and private individuals throughout the greater Pacific Northwest.His firm currently merchandises over 5 million dollars of equipment annually.Jake Cheechov is a 2 time Oregon Grand Champion Auctioneer winning the honor in 2003 and 2005.He has competed in several other auctioneer contests such as the prestigious International Auctioneer Championship, the World Livestock Auctioneer Championship as well as the Northwest Auctioneers Championship where he has been selected as a finalist.Currently Jake serves the Oregon Auctioneers Association as their President, and has recently earned his GPPA appraisers certification.In spring of 2008 he will attend class III of the Certified Auctioneers Institute which will complete his requirements for the prestigious CAI designation.
