   Hong Kong - Reuters (Nasdaq: RTRSY, LSE: RTR), the global information company, today announced the appointment of Daisy Chee as Head of Services for Asset Managers, Asia. In this role, she will be responsible for applying Reuters strategy for Portfolio Managers and for the private client market in Asia Pacific. She will be based in the Hong Kong office.
   
   Daisy brings more than seventeen years financial services experience in the Asia Pacific region. She has consulted to large multinational financial institutions, pension funds and regulatory bodies on investment issues and strategies. Previous roles include Head of Research at Morningstar in Australia from 2000-2002 where she was responsible for qualitative and quantitative research into funds management institutions, including selection of institutions for the Fund Manager of the Year Awards. Daisy was also a Director at UBS in Indonesia where she was responsible for sell-side research into financial institutions. Other previous roles include funds management at Axa Funds Management, and mergers & acquisitions at JP Morgan, both in Australia.
