   Corinne Chee, Senior Account Manager at ACS Quantum Strategies, LLC, specializes in issues account management, strategic communications, legislative advocacy, media relations, grass roots coalition development and multi-cultural outreach. She manages client relations for a diverse range of interests, including healthcare, state and local government, statewide associations, initiative campaigns, business and labor.
   
   Corinne has an extensive media and public affairs background and is well versed on societal impacts on children and families. As Deputy Director of Public Affairs for the California Department of Social Services, she was the state's chief spokesperson on the implementation of the landmark welfare-to-work program known as CalWORKS and on child welfare issues such as adoptions, child abuse prevention and child care. In her capacity, she promoted a variety of programs aiding disadvantaged children and individuals with disabilities and special needs.
   
   Corinne and her family have generously donated their time and resources to promoting issues and cultural activities that highlight the contributions and growing influence of Northern California 's Asian Pacific Islander (API) community.
   
   Corinne currently serves on the Executive Board of Directors of the Sacramento Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce and is often called upon by API community leaders to produce videos and press materials for their respective organizations and causes.
   
   Corinne worked as a reporter, producer and writer at Sacramento 's NBC affiliate, KCRA-TV, Channel 3 during the 1980's. She wrote, produced and co-hosted an Emmy Award-winning public affairs program that focused on controversial topics and cultural issues facing the Asian Pacific American community. She was a founding member and officer of the Sacramento chapter of the Asian American Journalists Association.
   
   Corinne graduated cum laude with a degree in communications from the University of California , Los Angeles .
