   Experience:Prior to becoming an investor, Brian gained significant experience in business operations and leadership.Brian is a decorated veteran, having served as Captain in the US Army Corps of Engineers.His service included the command of combat engineer soldiers during the Gulf War.As platoon leader, Brian was awarded the Bronze Star and the Army Commendation Medal with Valor for successfully completing missions while encountering enemy fire on the front lines.He also worked at Baxter International, a global leader delivering medical devices, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology to healthcare professionals.
   
   Boards:Brian represents Polaris on the boards of directors of Apnex Medical, Archus Orthopedics, Ascend Health, Asthmatx, Botanical Laboratories, BridgePoint Medical, Free & Clear, Transoma, UltraShape, and Ultreo.
