   The 100' by 100' tent provided an excellent acoustical setting for the resounding music of a 130 voice choir, brass and organ played by St. Andrew's Marc Cheban.

   Marc teaches music theory, music history and the music major; gives piano, organ and voice lessons; conducts the Chapel Choir and the Concert Choir; and serves as Chapel organist. Since 1983, Marc has led the Concert Choir on eight European tours, where they performed in cathedrals throughout France, England, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The Concert Choir has produced five CDs.
   
   Marc has long been active in choral activities in Delaware, having served as chair of the All-State Chorus Committee and as dean of the Delaware Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. He often performs as a recitalist in the tri-state area, frequently playing at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pa., where he has made two recordings. Some of Marc?s compositions have been published by Warner Co.
   
   On sabbatical leave during the 1999-2000 school year, Marc traveled, composed and reactivated his career as an organ recitalist. For a brief time, he studied the art of organ improvisation in Paris.
