   Rhona Cheatwood FIELD BIOLOGIST AND GPS TECHNICIAN Ms. Rhona Cheatwood brings five years experience working as resource assistant and biological technician for the California Department of Parks and Recreation, along with 15 years experience with rangeland management (including managing her own ranch), to SEI. With an educational background in ecology and a long family history with tribal ranching, Ms. Cheatwood is personally committed to developing sustainable range management.
   
   An excellent field biologist, Rhona conducts GPS mapping of sensitive resources, and assists with vegetation community mapping, rare plant surveys and wildlife surveys. In her state service work, Rhona assisted with annual habitat monitoring efforts on park properties, including avian point counts, photo monitoring points, vegetation monitoring (using CNPS relevé protocols), and mammal monitoring (using camera stations and live traps). She was integral in implementing an erosion control and habitat restoration plan at the Carnegie State Vehicular Recreation Area, deftly supervising and winning over volunteer work crews. Rhona also prepared data analysis and text for annual habitat monitoring reports.
