   Linda D. Cheatham, Senior Vice President - FHA Lending is the manager of the FHA product team. In this capacity, she oversees the origination, underwriting and processing of loans suitable for FHA/HUD mortgage insurance including development, rehabilitation and refinancing of multifamily, senior housing and nursing homes. Before joining Berkshire, Ms. Cheatham was employed for 26 years by the Department of Housing and Urban Development as the Director, Multifamily Housing Development, where she administered multifamily housing programs which insured more than $30 billion in FHA loans. Ms. Cheatham serves on the Board of Directors of the Housing and Development Reporter and Mercy Housing, Inc, and is a member of the Alexandria City Public School Board, in Virginia. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.

   My heart is absolutely singing because Alexandria School Board member, Linda Cheatham, made her firm, Berkshire Mortgage Finance, aware of Mount Vernon School and they are going to sponsor the renovation of the caboose to the tune of $15,000. The firm has also funded the weather station at Mount Vernon as well as the new outdoor basketball court and game area. We thank Linda Cheatham and her company so very much.
