   Pol Maj-Gen Santhan Chayanond, deputy chief of Provincial Police Bureau 8, said yesterday he ordered local police to check if Bualoi Phothisit, 23, of Ubon Ratchathani and Vichai Somkhaoyai, 24, of Nakhon Si Thammarat, had anything to do with the rape of a 26-year-old Briton who had filed a complaint with the Koh Samui police station.
   
   The attack took place about 2am on Oct 20 after the victim drank beer at a local restaurant with two Thai men who later raped her.
