   Dr. Chawla joined the Seminole Medical Center medical staff June 2002. She graduated from medical school in New Delhi, India. She began her private practice in Brookdale, New York. In 1979 she set up practice in Enid, Oklahoma where she remained till 1994. During 1994-1998, Dr. Chawla devoted her time to doing charity work for her church in India. She served as a voluntary physician at the Mata Gjuri Hospital in New Delhi. Dr. Chawla is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and provides a full range of services from newborn care to adolescents.
