  Shykeh Gordon, vice president of worldwide sales at RADVision, also has his suspicions but takes a more upbeat view.A lot of the time the best political standard is not necessarily the best technical standard.H.gcp is designed to control media gateways and is a valid standard.However, the cable market has not been willing to wait for H.gcp because it wants to provide services now.Thismarket has adopted M.gcp which is not the same as H.gcp -- although there will be similarities. -- GM.

  Question who is profiting from VoIP is rather retoric.There are many aspects.This reminds me story about gold fever in U.S. where many people went to look for gold - few became rich , most lost all their money or even life , but who benefited the most from all that was equipment manufacturers ( jeans , etc ).Same happens now with IP in large extent.
