The Susquehanna Township School Board Monday night rescinded its June vote to develop similar dress standards for all students.
Most parents and students urged enforcement of the existing dress code instead.
Parent Pamela Hammaker said she couldn't find the logo-free polo or buttoned shirts in black, red and white that standards would have required.
Senior Matt Kenny, wearing a T-shirt and cut-off sweat pants, said school is for education.
"If you want to think of education at its highest point, you think of college," he said.
