As director, applications engineering, Justin is also one of the founders of Quake.His many years of industry experience in communications components and networking products enable him to fully understand the needs of the customer, making him an excellent interface between Quake and its client base.
Prior to assisting in founding Quake, Justin was manager of high-speed datacom ICs at Agilent/Hewlett-Packard's fiber-optics communications division in San Jose, California.Over his 15 years at Agilent/Hewlett-Packard, he was instrumental in the development of the industry's first Gigabit fiber module, high-speed parallel optic ICs, and other elements for Fibre Channel and Gigabit Ethernet physical layer systems.Justin was also instrumental in setting up a world-class IC team within Agilent in San Jose.He also helped coordinate worldwide IC activities for Agilent's fiber-optics components group.
Before joining the fiber-optics communications division, Justin worked on IC development of the first industry Gigabit ICs, wireless RF and microwave components, and Ethernet networking bridges at other Hewlett-Packard divisions.
Justin holds a BSc and an MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and Santa Barbara respectively.In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoys traveling, biking, running and playing racquet sports.
