    Dr. Chandler received his M.D. from Emory University School of Medicine in 1990.He completed his internship in internal medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1991.From 1991 to 1994, Dr. Chandler completed his neurology residency at Emory University, where he also was appointed Chief Resident during his senior year.Dr. Chandler spent an additional year at Emory to complete a Movement Disorders Fellowship treating such disorders as Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease, and dystonia.While at Emory, Dr. Chandler participated in research involving epilepsy and Parkinson's disease at the Emory Clinic and Yerkes Primate Center.In addition, he was a participant in the NIH/NINDS-funded multicenter trial involving t-PA treatment for acute stroke from 1991-1994.

    In 1995, Dr. Chandler began his private practice in neurology while also establishing his own medical educational consulting company to provide CME, educational video programs, pharmaceutical training systems, and computerized learning programs to the pharmaceutical industry and medical professionals.Dr. Chandler continues to lecture to physicians and other health professionals around the country as a member of the National Speaker's Bureau on Neurological Diseases on such topics as stroke, headache, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis, and epilepsy.Dr. Chandler is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Medical Writers Association and continues to maintain a part-time neurology practice in Atlanta, GA.

    Scott Chandler participated as a panelist of the Health on the Net panel.
