    Dr. David W. Champagne was associate chairperson and associate professor of the Department of Administrative and Policy Studies at the University of Pittsburgh before his retirement from full time teaching.He continues to be an adjunct professor at S.U.N.Y. Albany where he teaches supervision, organizational development, curriculum and methods of instruction courses in the Educational Theory and Practice Program for Masters and Doctoral students from the U.S. and abroad..He also presents workshops and consults with districts and organizations that wish to learn and apply these skills in their own fields and programs.Among his several published books are.The Intelligent Professor's Guide to Teaching; A Complete Trainers' Guide for Your Usual Needs Levels: An Inventory (part of a training and professional development package for supervisors), and a CD-Rom, How to Make a Better School, published by ROC EdTech Publishing, Inc.,1998.

    Dr. David W. Champagne

    Dr Champagne was a Professor of Education at the University of Pittsburgh.He had two sons who both went to college and graduated.One of them later finished a Ph.D. in Chemistry and then went on to an MBA in international business administration.

    The other finished his BS in chemistry and makes his living as a general contractor and furniture maker in his own business.

    Dr. Champagne has helped several generations of students plan their education and select programs.His undergraduate work was in a small public college where he earned a BS and an MS in chemistry and a teaching license.He also holds an M.Ed. from Harvard University.His doctoral work was at the University of Pittsburgh, a large urban research university.He maintained contact with the undergraduate program there and with public, independent and charter schools throughout his career.
