Mr. Corinne Filliault Champagne

Born in North Adams on Nov. 15, 1926, son of Henri and Corinne Filliault Champagne, he attended the former Notre Dame Elementary School.

Mr. Champagne was a self-employed roofer for many years, retiring several months ago.Earlier, he was employed by the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams and the Bear Swamp Hydroelectric Plant in Rowe, and was a sales representative for the former Tilo Roofing Co. in Pittsfield.He also worked with his brother, who operated a trucking company, years ago.

He was a communicant of Notre Dame Church and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, both in North Adams.He enjoyed bowling and playing cards, and was an outdoorsman.
