   Jayesh Chakravarthi is vice president and head for MindTree's global supply chain practice. In addition, Jayesh is the head of MindTree's business in the Asean geography.
   
   Jayesh's responsibilities include leading a team of highly qualified supply chain professionals in providing customers SCM related consulting and implementation services. He was involved with MindTree's partner alliance program, forging alliances with over 10 technology partners. Jayesh was involved in commencing MindTree's Middle East operations as well as in the transformation of its India Business in re-focusing on Enterprise Solutions and Enterprise Customers.
   
   Prior to MindTree, Jayesh served as Director - Channel Operations at Sun Microsystems, India. Jayesh was with Sun India for six years and contributed to the growth of Sun India from $9 million to $75 million. Jayesh was responsible for all of Sun India's revenues which was through its channel partners viz. Wipro, Tata Infotech, Accel, Ingram Micro, and TCS-CMC. Jayesh played an active role in forging Sun's alliances in India with System Integrators like Accenture, Andersen, PWC, KPMG, SAP and Oracle. He was also involved in Sun's India Business Planning process, which led partly to the creation of Sun India software development center. Jayesh, as a part of Sun India's Management Team, contributed to the channel partner recruitment, employee recruitment, channel marketing, setting-up competency centers and championing key initiatives like iForce, Sun One etc.
   
   Jayesh spent over 8 years in Wipro were he held multiple positions such as PC Brand Manager, Area Manager, Regional Manager and Head of Wipro's Sun Business for South. He was involved in Wipro acquiring key customers like Texas Instruments, Motorola, ABB, Oracle, CitiBank, Indian Defence forces, CDoT, BEML and others.
   
   Jayesh is a regular contributor to MindTree's Knowledge Repository through articles. He is a passionate teacher and apart from participating in all MindTree's competency building programs, lectures at various management institutes like IIMs, BIM etc. He is an active participant in CII and other industry platforms. Jayesh holds a degree in Electronics Engineering from Bangalore University and a Masters in Business Management from Bajaj Institute of Management, Bombay.
