Vicki Cessna has been named Director of Communications for the Diocese.Vicki is responsible for editing The Good News and providing public relations and media relations support for the Diocese.

Editor of The Good News for the Diocese of Kalamazoo, Vicki Cessna said the diocese is seeking 4,000 donors to give gifts of $300 which will be directly infused into schools this Spring when successful. Cessna says the have created an extensive campaign including a direct mail brochure, a video (on the website), dedicated page on the website and Bishop James Murray is hosting four receptions around the diocese.

Cessna said "Our schools are in crisis as we have closed 4 in the last 6 years."

She also reported that her diocese is still waiting for word of a new bishop.
